The Catholic church in Cap Malheureux ‘Notre Dame Auxiliatrice’, with its striking red tiled roof, is worth a visit in itself.
Our boat is moored directly on the jetty below the church.
Cap Malheureux is the northernmost point of Mauritius, not far from Grand Baie, a lively little town with many well-known hotels. The Cap can be reached quickly and easily from all coasts of the island thanks to the motorway that now runs all the way to Grand Baie.
